This blog was created for Ms.McDonnell's Cinema Studies class at Middletown H.S. North. The site will revolve around movies being watched in class, along with movies viewed by students outside of the classroom. Discussion is encouraged. This will be used for class assignments as well as extra credit.
My favorite movie is Goodfellas. I love the soundtrack, along with the great acting job by Ray Liotta who plays Henry Hill in the film.

ReplyDeleteGreat! Sylvester Stallone is a great actor and director. They are filming an Expendables 2 as well.
DeleteMy favorite movie is The Matrix.I loved how the special effects turned out in the movie and i especially loved the slow mo they put into the movie. i also love how the matrix popularized bullet time.
ReplyDeleteYes, Manney, The Matrix is one of my all time favorite films as well. We will be watching it in class this semester! Also learning about special effects, etc.
DeleteMy favorite movie is Taken. I think this because I think that Liam Neeson is a great actor, the story behind the movie is great, and I like the phone scene a lot in the movie. I also liked the action in the movie.

DeleteMy favorite movie is Gridiron Gang. This movie was based off of real events and i like a story that is true. The actors in the movie actually made me feel like they were going through the struggles of the real people. It is a great story because the people were sent to prison and were going nowhere in life. They were given a second chance by a courageous coach and they succeeded. The movie keeps you drawn in and it is always exciting, and thats why it's my favorite.

My favorite movie is coach carter. It is based off of a real high school basketball team back in the 90s. In this movie a group of kids who are struggling in school and not doing real well on the court are faced with a extremely strict coach who forces them to do there work and behave or else no basketball. This is one of those movies you can watch all day long. I recommend this movie because it is pretty awesome. You should go buy it
